You Matter Consulting Services ("You Matter", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("UAE PDPL") and its executive regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to personal data collected through youmatter.ae, including the You Matter membership registration form. It applies to visitors, membership registrants, and, once the membership community launches, its members.

When you register for the membership community, we collect the personal data you provide directly:

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, this Policy will be updated accordingly before any such technology is deployed.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process and confirm your membership registration;
- To send you a confirmation email and updates about the membership community and its 31 July 2026 launch;
- To administer the membership community once it launches;
- To maintain accurate records for legitimate administrative and business purposes;
- To comply with our legal obligations under UAE law.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit the registration form, and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in operating and administering the membership community. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 8.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share personal data with trusted service providers who process it strictly on our behalf and under our instructions (for example, our website hosting and email delivery providers), or where required by UAE law, regulation, or a competent authority.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Where personal data is processed or stored on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection consistent with the UAE PDPL.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required to comply with our legal obligations. If you withdraw your registration or request deletion, we will remove your data unless we are required by law to retain it.
8. Your Rights
Under the UAE PDPL, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your personal data is processed;
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure of your personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements;
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your data;
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

9. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Your information will be handled securely and confidentially. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Cookies
This website uses only essential session cookies required for basic security features, such as protecting the registration form against unauthorised submissions. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
11. Children's Privacy
This website and the membership community are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as the membership community approaches its official launch and its features evolve. Material changes will be communicated to registered applicants by email where reasonably possible. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
